Crayons That Make a Difference

I know we’re often in a rush when getting ready to go to work in the morning. But if your routine includes a few minutes to put on some makeup, investing one more minute to apply these crayons is worth it.

These 3 crayons will simply add the perfect finishing touch!

1  ILLUMINATE YOUR EYE WITH A BEIGE EYELINER

Believe me, this beige eyeliner will do magic when you look tired!

Slide it along the interior part of your bottom lid. Notice that it should not be white. A white line will be too bright and won’t look natural.

I wear NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner – Color Rue Bonaparte (25$ CAD) // Another option: MAC Chromagraphic Pencil – 3 shades available (20$ CAD)

2  PREVENT LIPSTICK FROM BLEEDING WITH A CLEAR PENCIL

If you don’t like to wear a traditional lip liner, contour your lips with this transparent pencil.

When using a lip liner, if you don’t fill in your lips, you may end up with a ring around your mouth or with a two-shade look.  I often wear lip liners, but I admit that while it adds a nice finishing touch, it can also look less natural if it shows.

This transparent crayon will allow you to keep the more natural look while preventing your lisptick from bleeding.

DEFINE YOUR EYEBROWS

We often forget about how the eyebrows are an important part of our facial features. Have you noticed in the magazines how models most always have well defined eyebrows? And how it does add to their beauty?

I’m not talking about making your eyebrows darker because I believe it’s best when they appear natural. However, it does look better when the eyebrows seem full and even – e.g. without bare spots.

So the idea is to buy a color as close as possible to your own. You apply the pencil very lightly and only in needed areas to give your eyebrows a full look. Then use the brush to even it out.
